Helmet must be worn & buckled
while on your bike. No warming up on the course.
Race day registration opens at 6:30 AM & closes 10 minutes prior to each race. $2 USCF insurance fee included.
A one day USCF license is available
for $10. Unattached riders add $5 except CAT 5 Men & CAT 4 Women. Additional
races $10 after higher race paid.
WHEEL PIT: Wheels-in, wheels-out at your own risk.
FIELD LIMITS: CAT 5 = 50. All others 100 rider field limit.
KID'S RACE
The Kid's Races
start at 11:45 AM. All
kid's will receive a prize. Registration for kid's is free and in the
expo area.
PHOTOGRAPHY
A photographerwill be taking photographs of the races and always have his camrea
ready. Stay tuned for more information.
ACCOMODATIONS
Homestead Studio
Suites is offering a discount to anyone that mentions the Bicycle
John's Grand Prix. Individuals mentioning
the BJGP will receive a Studio Suite rate of $104.95. The hotel is located
at 1377 West Glenoaks Blvd, Glendale, CA 91201 and can be reached at (818)
956-6665. They are located less than a mile from the race location.
DIRECTIONS
From East & West on the 134 FWY
Exit
San Fernando Blvd., and go North. Turn left on Sonora. Left on Grand Central.
From
North & South on the 5 FWY
Exit Western Ave., travel East toward Glendale.
Turn right onto Flower. Left onto Sonora. Right onto Grand Central.
PARKING
On Flower Street. DO NOT park in or block businesses or driveways. Additional
parking available on Grandview. YOU WILL BE TOWED AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.
